2014 Best Places To Work-Small Companies
These companies rock!
Each year, the South Florida Business Journal asks employees to tell us why their companies are great employers. This year’s honorees did not disappoint.
In our annual special section, we’re sharing just why these local companies ranked high in their respective categories. Learn about the innovative and creative ideas these 40 businesses are implementing in order to make sure employees are engaged at the highest level.
The companies were honored Feb. 27 at a luncheon event at the Signature Grand in Davie. The event was sponsored by AvMed Health Plans and Comcast Business, in partnership with Quantum Workplace and Signature Grand.
12. Quest Workspaces
There’s a purpose at Quest Workspaces – as noted in its mission statement – that all team members understand. In fact, each person can recite the company’s mission statement and tell you the role he or she plays in achieving its purpose.
Quest is run openly. Leaders share information with team members, encourage feedback, listen to ideas and allow them to manage their own time.
One of the most important ingredients in being a great place to work is great people. Quest is dedicated to attracting and retaining extraordinary team members. The business model offers team members opportunities to grow and develop their careers, be rewarded and recognized for their performance, and to ensure a balance between work and life.
Quest has modeled many of its own employee programs, building on what’s already special about the company: its opportunities for employees, its unique working environment, and the chance for employees to learn new things while running their own businesses on a day-to-day basis, with minimal corporate oversight.
